Experience the incredible opportunity to meet whales in their natural habitat off the west coast of Mauritius! Whale watching is a moving experience that will bring you close to the beautiful scenery of the unspoiled landscapes and magnificent animals.
Sperm whales can be observed off the Mauritian West coast all year round. They inhabit the warm waters surrounding the island and they are usually travelling in groups of 10 to 20 sperm whales. Whereas, Humpback whales can be observed from July to November when they move from the poles to warmer waters near the equator for the mating season before getting back to the Arctic.
Once on site, the crew will give you more information about these majestic marine mammals. We will respect approach rules and minimum distance in order to avoid disturbing them. Do not forget your camera to immortalize this wonderful moment!
